VISION
We believe God is writing a story of restoration — a story that begins in dry, cracked ground and ends in a forest of life.
We see a church where barren places come alive again. Where hearts once dry and weary begin to awaken as God’s presence brings renewal. At first, small shoots appear — fragile signs of hope and new beginnings — but over time those shoots become trees, and those trees become a forest. A forest of oaks of righteousness, deeply rooted in God’s love and strong enough to bring shade, fruit, and life to others.
We see a place of healing and transformation — like David’s mighty men who came broken, weary, and wounded but were restored to strength and purpose. Here, those who are hurting in body, mind, or spirit find wholeness in Jesus. It’s a community where grace meets people right where they are, and where stories of pain are rewritten into stories of redemption.
We see a harbour of restoration — a safe place for those battered by life’s storms. A place where people can find rest, repair, and renewal before heading back out into the world. Over time, this harbour grows — from a quiet refuge into a bustling, life-filled community where people not only find healing for themselves but become those who welcome, repair, and restore others.
Values
We see a church where everyone belongs — where every person, regardless of story or background, is welcomed with open arms and open hearts.
And a church where we live authentically, being real about who we are and where we’re at, walking together in grace and truth as we grow.
A church where people encounter God in ways that change everything — His love, His truth, and His presence transforming lives from the inside out.
And we see a church of people living new lives that bring new life to others — carrying the restoration we’ve experienced into our families, workplaces, neighbourhoods, and nations. We long to embody Isaiah 58, being called “repairers of broken walls, restorers of streets to dwell in.”
This is what it means...
We believe this is what it means to be Restoration Church:
to be a people restored by God, becoming restorers in the world.
As Isaiah 58 says, we will be called “repairers of broken walls, restorers of streets to dwell in.”
We long to see our city and our communities healed and renewed — where the lonely find family, the broken find hope, and every dry and weary place flourishes with new life.
This is our vision:
To see lives, families, and communities restored by the love and power of Jesus — until every cracked ground becomes a forest of life, every storm-battered soul finds safe harbour, and every heart knows the beauty of being made whole.
